Movement Standards

Row and Bike

BOTH athletes need to complete the stated numbers of calories on BOTH the Concept 2 Bikerg and rower each round. So, when one male athlete completes 15 calories on the BikeErg, he will then move to the rower and complete 15 calories before moving to the rings. Both athletes can work at the same time. Monitors on both machines need to show completed calories before moving off the machine. Athletes should reset their own monitors each round.

Alternating Ring Muscle Ups

For the first rep of each set, both athletes perform a muscle up. The rep is credited when both athletes meet at the support position above the rings. For alternating muscle ups, one athlete can only work when the other holds the support position above the rings.

• Rep begins with both athletes hanging from the rings, with arms fully extended and feet off the ground.
• If performing consecutive kipping muscle-ups, a change of direction below the rings is required.
• The rep is credited when both athlete’s elbows are fully locked out in the support position.
• Must pass through some portion of a dip before reaching lockout.
• Kipping is allowed, but swings or rolls to support are not permitted.
• No part of the foot may rise above the rings during the kip.
